Classes Offered
CPR (Cardio PULMONARY RESUSCITATION)
This CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) course covers CPR and choking for adults, children and infants. The course also teaches students how to use an AED and breathing barrier devices. This course runs approximately 3 hours and costs vary based on the number of enrolled students
BLS (Basic Life Support)
This course is designed for working professionals in the healthcare industry. Examples of careers that require this certification include; Nurses, Dentists, Emergency Response personnel, Caregivers, Occupational Therapists, etc. This course covers conscious and unconscious choking for victims of all ages, how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), how to use breathing barriers, bag valve mask (BVM), and two rescuer CPR, cardiopulmonary emergencies and special resuscitation situations. The run time for this course is 3-4 hours. We can provide CE’s, too.
First Aid
The First Aid course teaches students how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes of an incident until professional help arrives. Course content includes general principles, medical emergencies, and injury emergencies. The course runs approximately 2-3 hours. Same price structure as the CPR & AED class for Community Rescuers.
CPR and First Aid
The Basic CPR/AED and First Aid course combines the course content from each course to provide the student with an overall, well rounded knowledge base of first responder skills. The course runs approximately 4-6 hours.
